SWTOR Torian Cadera Companion Guide
Hello fellow Bounty Hunters! Come and read my SWTOR Torian Cadera Companion Guide for information on how to please him, and what armor and weapons the Mandalorian lover prefers!
Torian Cadera is a Mandalorian Warrior. It is the Mandalorian ideal that a warrior be judged by his or her own actions, not by those of his or her ancestors–but reality rarely lives up to ideals. Torian Cadera has spent his entire short life trying to overcome the stigma of being a traitor’s son–a shame he has rarely been allowed to forget in the company of his peers. But Torian long ago learned to armor himself against contempt, and others’ doubts regarding his loyalty have only driven him to strive harder to prove his worth.
As Torian specializes in being a Melee DPS, he will be of much more use to Bounty Hunters who have chosen to take the Powertech path. Those playing as DPS Mercenaries may struggle more and prefer to use a Tank like Blizz, or Mako, the only available healing companion as a Bounty Hunter. While this may be true, Torian Cadera can be also useful whilst in combat. He would probably be more applicable to a tanking role, but regardless he will still help you crush your foes with his Electrostaff.
Torian will be the third companion you receive as a Bounty Hunter, and you can go and find him on Taris at around level 32. Torian adheres to the codes and traditions of the Mandalorians with more devotion than many twice his age. Upholding honor and enduring adversity are the cornerstones of his existence.
Level of recruitment: Approximately level 32
Torian will favor your conversations if you pick options consisting of: challenges, honor, Mandalorians, and respect. Alternatively, he will object to any conversation options that involve selling out, and cowardice. As he specializes in being a melee DPS, he benefits from using an Electrostaff and a Generator. This makes a nice change, as your character will be ranged, and are Mako and Gault.
Role: Melee DPS
Likes: Challenges, honor, Mandalorians, and respect
Dislikes: Selling out, and cowardice
Primary Weapon: Electrostaff
Secondary Weapon: Generator
While whizzing through the galaxy in your own personal ship, and helping citizens with their quests, you may find that some of them reward you with new companion armor. You will easily be able to tell if something is for Torian, as the item will have his name in it. Some outfits allow different personalizations, while some will actually upgrade your companion’s attributes. If none of these live up to your expectations, save your up your credits and find a Heavy armor vendor (these are on most large planets), to make your companion look more unique than other Bounty Hunter’s.
While progressing through the story and completing missions, several items specifically intended for Torian will be given as reward. Some of these will provide the same stats but give different appearances; others are progression items, giving obvious upgrades along the way as the player levels up. Gear specifically intended for a companion is easily recognizable, as the items’ names will contain the companion’s name. You can also purchase new gear for him from armor vendors found across the galaxy.

My SWTOR Torian Cadera Companion Guide is intended to give you insight into every aspect of Torian, crew skills included. As with most companions, (except that useless ship droid!) Torian is gifted in certain skills. If used effectively, he can receive+10 Investigation Efficiency, and a +2 Bioanalysis Critical, meaning if he is used for these skills, you have the chance to bring back extra items/schematics.
Torian is among the many SWTOR companions who enjoy being wined and dined. If you’re playing as a female Bounty Hunter, and you can gain enough affection with Torian, you can have the chance to have a romantic relationship with him. Even if you are playing as a male Bounty Hunter and want to gain affection with him, doing so will unlock interesting stories about his past, and of course will improve your character’s presence attribute.
If, like most of us, you tend to prefer one companion and don’t tend to play as much with the others, fear not, as Bioware has made it socially acceptable to buy your companions love. If you visit the Companion gifts Vendor on the Imperial Fleet, they will sell you every type of gift group available. Be careful, however, as some of these gifts will not be appreciated by certain companions, meaning you will waste your time and money. Fear not! Torian’s favorite gifts include: Military Gear, trophies, weapons, courting (from females), cultural artifacts, technology, and underworld goods
